Our suppliers have a great deal of flexibility in their ability to manufacture their products specifically to your requirements.

For that purpose in addition to a check box for adding an item to the shopping cart, and a quantity, we include a text box for Notes / Product & Grinding Requirements. In this space you might indicate a particular style of joining a belt, the type of glueing you wish for a cartridge roll, or any other information that would help us to provide you with exactly the product you require.

If you need a size that does not show among the listed sizes, let us know and we will add that size to the selection. You can do this by E-Mail or fax, or by indicating your need in the Notes box.

Custom orders are common. Much of the product we sell is made to order. As such our suppliers expect to be producing small and mid-size quantities of custom products, and do so within the three-day-or-less time that we promise (see Shipping Information). The only disadvantage of ordering custom products is that if you make a mistake in ordering, it may be difficult to return. We will allow you to return any custom made product if our supplier has the expected ability to re-sell or convert it to a product they can sell (see Return Information).

Please note: when our suppliers manufacture a custom made product, in many cases they can only do so in certain incremental quantities. For example, when making narrow belts, (i.e. 1/2", 3/4", 1", 2", etc.), typically they start by making 12" wide belts, and later slit them down to the desired width. Because of this they reserve the right to overship or undership up to 10% of the quantity ordered. They charge us for the actual quantity they ship, and we reserve the right to charge you for the quantity shipped to you.
